Mr. Ed Schaffler, President/CEO of the Catholic Foundation, presented our School Principal, Christina Clem with a Grand Prize Work of Heart Award. Father Michael Dugan, VF, Pastor, Diocesan School Superintendent Sr. Gloria Cain, and Assistant Superintendent Sr. Dawn Achs, congratulate and support Christina Clem for all her work of heart. Recipients of the Work of Heart Awards are selected from written nominations from students, teachers, parents, administrators, and community members and then submitted to the Catholic Foundation. Nominees are judged based on traditional merit including tenure and leadership, enthusiastic instruction, individual or unexpected acts of kindness or charity, Christian example, mentoring or “simply going the extra mile.”
