It is difficult to believe that we are already in the month of May! We’ve had such a great year, but it has flown by so quickly that it is difficult to believe that we are entering the last month of the school year. I am so very proud of all our accomplishments in serving God through our ministry of educational excellence!

Registration is still underway for the 2010-2011 school year. We will miss the 8th grade class as they prepare to move on to high school, but are greatly looking forward to having all of our returning families with us as well as having our awesome new families on board!

I’d like to give a huge THANK YOU to the FVO Silent Auction committee: Kelly Blackburn, Anna Burciaga, Dana Choate, & Andy Goza, under the very capable leadership of Mary Beth Jones, for organizing the spectacular event that took place at the Golf Club of Dallas on April 24th. Everyone had a wonderful time dining and dancing to the nostalgic tunes of Elvis! Also, many thanks to our Grade Level Representatives and Parents for the awesome baskets and donations that helped to make this event a success!

CONGRATULATIONS to our talented 5th grade class who successfully completed the Dancing Classrooms 10 week ballroom dancing program. The entire student body was awed and amazed at the grace and elegance they displayed as ladies and gentleman during their performance on April 23rd. Six of our couples will be going on to compete in the semi-final competition on May 4th.

CONGRATULATIONS to our JV girls track team for their awesome performance this season! After their final track meet last month, our lady saints came to school weighted down from all of the medals that hung around their necks! Their team placed third in the Diocese. Way to go, SAINTS!!!!!

Let us continue to pray for one another and for the needs of our community as we build the kingdom of God here at St. Elizabeth of Hungary School! God bless!

God bless!
