Arrival/Pick-up
The last school bell rings at 3:10 P.M. The children are given from 3:10 - 3:30 for their rides to arrive. At 3:30, all children remaining on the school grounds will be sent to Extended Day. Any students who are not picked-up on time will be sent to the Extended Day Program. Also, any students who are not picked-up on time from Tutoring, Learning Lab, and Extra-Curricular activities will be sent to the Extended Day Program. Students are not allowed to wait outside the school for their rides, nor are they allowed to wander the hallways or wait in the gym. Your child’s safety is our first priority. All children must be signed out at pick-up time. A note from the Parent/Guardian is required if someone other than the Parent/Guardian is picking-up the student. Also, a note is required in order for your child to leave Extended Day to go to team practices.

Expectations for Children’s Behavior
As members of a Christian and caring community, the children will be expected to respect the Staff, each other and the material and environment provided. They must never leave the building or grounds. In the event of unacceptable behavior, the child will be asked to remove himself/herself from an activity for a pre-determined amount of time. The St. Elizabeth Extended Day Program reserves the right to dismiss a child from the program for prolonged unacceptable behavior.

Snacks
A snack will be provided each day. Should your child have a food allergy, please provide them with a snack. If you child wants more than the snack provided, they are encouraged to bring money for the snack machine or bring extra snacks.

Bulletin Board
Please check the bulletin board located next to the vending machines, daily, for any notices.

The DineRite System
The DineRite System works similar to a Debit Card system, except that all transactions are handled by a computer rather than on magnetic tape. You may pay for lunches with cash, check, or credit card. This money is deposited to each child’s DineRite account for purchases in the cafeteria. As your child comes through the food line, the amount of his/her purchase is deducted by computer from their account. If you already have an existing account, you do not have to open a new account every school year. To our new families, we urge you to consider opening an account even if you plan on having your child bring a sack lunch. We have found through experience that emergencies arise such as forgotten lunches and instead of calling a parent at work, the child can simply purchase a lunch on account.

When the balance drops below $15.00, you will receive a notice in your child’s weekly school information folder. Checks ($40.00 minimum) should be made to “DineRite”. If you use your credit card, we will automatically activate a $50.00 charge when the DineRite account falls below $15.00. You will receive a notice sent home in the weekly folder advising you that your credit card has been billed. The computer system gives us full accountability to the parent and to the school. If you want a printout of your child’s food purchases for any month, please ask the cafeteria manager. You may go the cafeteria any time and view the purchase and deposits on the computer screen.

DineRite asks that each student have an account and not bring cash daily. Change is not readily available.

If you have any questions regarding the DineRite system, please feel free to call the cafeteria manager at (214) 331-5139 Ext. 31.
