Organizations
Parents are strongly encouraged to become involved in any of the parent groups or volunteer opportunities which support and strengthen the school programs.

Advisory Board - This group advises the pastor and principal on financial matters and school policies. The Board consists of nine members elected by parents of current students and by St. Elizabeth parishioners in August or appointed by the pastor. Meetings are held monthly and are open to the public.

Endowment Board - The Endowment Board is a group of school parents, parishioners, & non parishioners, dedicated to the cause of raising, saving, and investing money for the exclusive purpose of aiding families in paying tuition at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic School. All funds are deposited with, and managed by, The Catholic Foundation. Contact Pati Reyes for additional information concerning the Endowment Board at 214-331-5139, ext. 26. Home and School Association - The Home and School Association acts as a communication link, an information forum, and a fund-raising body. Home and School Association officers are elected annually in April. General Meetings are held three times a year in the school cafeteria. Membership is open to the parents of current students. Athletic Booster Club - This is an opportunity for parents to be involved in our athletic program. The Club works directly with the athletic director and principal in making our athletic programs the best they can be. They are responsible for fundraising, improving the athletic fields on campus, and the overall spirit of the athletes. Meetings are held once a month. Volunteer Opportunities - The school has many opportunities for talented parents. Typically these include room mothers, clinic volunteers, playground/cafeteria supervisors, library volunteers, and coaches for athletic, speech, drama, and Odyssey of the Mind teams. FAMILIES ARE ASKED TO VOLUNTEER AT LEAST 25 HOURS TO THE SCHOOL EACH YEAR. For more information about Volunteer Opportunities, contact the school office at 214-331-5139, ext 23.
