My Visit to See Pope Benedict XVI

On Thursday, April 17, 2008, my grandmother and I went to Washington’s National Stadium to see Pope Benedict XVI. The Mass was beautiful! I was really amazed that he was talking about the problems in the world today, like the abuse that is going on in our Catholic churches and the loss of many of our Priests. We are losing many of our priests and we need more young people to come into the Priesthood. We are also losing young Catholic and Christian people in our churches. I think that is a big problem in our world! I also think that we need to keep our children in a good environment. I think they were both great topics. I really loved it! I think that this was good for me because most people don’t get this opportunity!
